Canada

• The S&P/TSX Composite increased 0.51% on the week led by a 3.27% increase in the Materials sector.

• According to Statistics Canada wholesale sales, excluding petroleum products, rose 0.1% $82.4 billion in January. The increase came as sales climbed in three of the seven subsectors it studies, including machinery, equipment and supplies, and personal and household goods. United States

• The S&P/500 Composite decreased 0.13% on the week.

• According to the Commerce Department, the producer price index, which measures pipeline costs for raw, intermediate, and finished goods, jumped by 0.6% in February.
